Announcement of Special Issue: “The World of Apocryphal Texts” – Call for Papers

Post Augustum is planning a special issue for 2026 on the theme “The World of Apocryphal Texts.” Apocryphal Christian literature not only offers a wide range of ideas that shed light on the complex development of Christian thought but also holds important historical value. These texts emphasize the concerns and contradictions of the societies that created them. This issue will explore apocryphal texts as historical sources, highlight key ideas, trace the development of Christian concepts and doctrines, and consider how apocryphal literature has influenced philosophy. Articles should be between 1,500 and 5,000 words.

We invite authors to send proposals with a title and a short description of their topic. The deadline for final manuscripts is the end of November 2026.

You can submit your proposals and articles to Post Augustum using the contact form at https://www.postaugustum.com/en/article-submission/ or by email.
