Teaching Fellow in Roman History

The Department of Classics, Ancient History and Archaeology is looking to appoint a teaching fellow (0.4) to teach modules in Roman history and culture to replace a colleague for a period of research leave. The position is a fixed-term appointment for twelve month from 1 September 2020.  The successful candidate will have: a PhD in classics/ancient history; the expertise to teach in the area specified in the job particulars; experience of teaching in a university department or equivalent; fluent written and spoken English. Ability to also teach Latin Language could be an advantage.

Full time starting salary is normally in the range £30,942 to £40,322, with potential progression once in post to £42,792
